One needs to spend £50/£60 for a true smart BMS which uses the uart etc, I haven't used one as tbh I see no need. alias default vedirect work Blue solar charger. To switch to the EEPROM mode, you need to send the first packet to write to the zero register of the value: 0x56 0x78. This library uses the Arduino Serial library to communicate with a DALY BMS over UART. With my airbags I'm not dealing with pouches and digging around for stuff, They really put the things I need for easy grab right there for me and organized, the rest of my stuff goes into the rest of the space. And I'm too old for just looks, I like good functionality. And I like the look, sometimes I want a bit of more of a statement in a bag but in many ways the sleek and underspoken aesthetic is a statement in itself. The quality, the organization, the features, they really just function so well. I've really examined the other ever good bags and multiple other EDC bags and I just love the aer aesthetic. But it's a great versatile bag so I keep it. I do have an alpha one niner 1.5 full, which I do like but I feel is a little more outdoorsy with those scrunchy water bottle pocket look, and they are also quite heavy. I had a mission workshop rhake VX for a while, an ever goods goods chz26, which I also sold. They don't quite have the buzz in the carry world because they aren't so flashy, So the resale value probably isn't as good, but they just perform. If anything I could sell the travel pack three small but I'm going to keep it because I'll lose money on the resale for now and I'm hoping to travel more in the future.Īer backpacks are really good, I absolutely love and utilize the organization and the raw space they give combined, as well as the water bottle holders are clutched to me and the quick access pockets. The city pack pro is now my everyday carry to work, and it's absolutely perfect. The regular city pack I love for its slim profile when I don't need to carry quite as much especially when I'm using it in New York City on mass transit or just to look a little sleeker if I don't need to carry that much. I bought the city pack and the city pack pro and X-Pac afterwards. I got the travel pack three small in gray this summer fora trip and loved it. Notice how CPP looks cleaner but pulls back more when fully loaded. I say CPP can be a pretty nice EDC bag and TP3s might be too much for that. I do not like the squeezed look of TP3s when it is compressed. With CPP, I have to pack my cables together, and have to put my laptop charger in a different compartment than my laptop.īoth bags are good looking, but I like the more streamlined look of CPP. What I do appreciate about the TP3s is the organization. I am willing to compromise on the weight for a more balanced carry. My deal breaker was the weight distribution. More handles on TP3s can be handy but they add more weight. Some other reviews mention the CPP has a better back panel, but I wouldn’t notice if I weren’t paying attention. They didn’t help as much as I expected, but my center of gravity is mostly in the middle of my feet.īoth bags are nicely padded. The TP3s has weight lifters and compression. However, the CPP pulls back more, and my center of gravity is in my forefeet because I have to lean forward. It is a noticeable difference even at this heavy load. Loading everything I carry, TP3s weights 19.1 lbs (8.7 kg), CPP 17.8 lbs (8.1 kg). I know TP3s is technically not personal item size but I do domestic travel and take my own risks. I needed a slightly larger bag for flights, and ideally as a personal item. I already have the Aer CP for EDC, but found it a bit small when traveling with my camera and ANC headphones (and sometimes with the Steamdeck). If more EDC and lighter carry, go CPP otherwise TP3s. I’d say to choose, consider the use case and how much you carry.I went with TP3s because I already have the Aer city pack, and will use TP3s for travel most of the time.It has fewer pockets for organization, which I will miss but can live with. For my use, I do not need the extra space. CPP is smaller than TP3s, but not by much.Aesthetically CPP is cleaner and in my opinion better looking.CPP is a much lighter bag, but not necessarily a better carry as it pulls you back more when fully loaded.Aer has so many bags now it is hard to choose.
